Table 1.2 lists the components of each of the server generations that may be installed in an Oracle PCA rack and which are supported by the current software release: Oracle Server X6-2, Oracle Server X5-2, Sun Server X4-2, and Sun Server X3-2. While Sun Server X4-2 and Sun Server X3-2 nodes continue to be supported by the newer software releases, this hardware is no longer shipped within new Oracle PCA racks.
Oracle Server X6-2 is currently only supported as an expansion compute node.
