Enabling Generative AI in Cloud EDM

Enable generative AI (GenAI) in Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Data Management to empower users to leverage GenAI capabilities to generate custom properties for Universal applications during application registration.

Considerations

• The GenAI feature is available only for OCI environments, and it is not yet available in all OCI regions. To view the regions where it is available, refer to Availability of Generative AI in the Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM Operations Guide.
• For the initial release, the AI assistant supports the English language only.
• Output from GenAI may not always be factual, accurate, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and using GenAI at your discretion.

To enable AI in Cloud EDM:

1. From Tools, select Settings.
2. In the Enable AI section, select Generative AI to enable the ability to use GenAI to generate properties for Universal applications.

   Note:

   The Enable AI section is not displayed if GenAI is not available in your region.
