Web Push Dashboard

Note: This dashboard is available only to users with the Web Push Analytics Manager role.

This dashboard provides an at-a-glance summary of your Web Push campaigns. The dashboard helps you analyze trends in performance metrics over time and provides campaign performance metrics for deep-dive analysis.

The charts on this dashboard help you to:

  • Trend notification performance metrics over time and drill down on areas of interest
  • View performance by platform and browser.
  • Conduct granular analysis with detailed tabular reports

You can search and filter the charts by Web Push app, campaign, platform, and browser.

To Open the Web Push Dashboard

  1. Click The Insight icon Insight on the side navigation bar, and select Interactive Dashboards.
  2. On the Analytics page, select the Web Push tab.

Summary of Key Performance Metrics

The dashboard provides a quick overview of the following key performance metrics for Web Push campaigns:

  • Sent: Total number of sent Web Push notifications.
  • Delivered Rate: (Delivered / Total Web Pushes Sent) * 100%
  • Open Rate: (Opens / Delivered) * 100%
  • Conversion Rate: (Conversions / Delivered) * 100%
  • Revenue: Total revenue associated with the Web Push campaign launches.

Note: Values shown will vary, depending on the filtering criteria you select (for example, Sent Date Range, Web Push app, and the like).

Performance Trend Chart

This chart trends performance metrics. Use this chart to see performance over time and analyze trends.

Select the comparison that you want to view from the drop down list. For Web Push campaigns, metrics include Sent vs. Opens and Sent vs. Delivered over time, where:

  • Sent: Total number of sent Web Push notifications.
  • Opens: Number of notifications opened. Learn more about tracking opens.
  • Delivered: Number of successfully delivered messages (that is, Sent - Bounced).

For a deeper analysis of the trend at any point on the chart, move your mouse cursor over the point to see specific numbers for a given date.

Performance by Platform Chart

This chart shows the following performance metrics, by platform type (that is, the browser platform of the web application. Currently, the only supported platform is Standard):

  • Open Rate: (Opens / Delivered) * 100%
  • Delivered Rate: (Delivered / Total Web Pushes Sent) * 100%
  • Bounce Rate: (Bounced / Sent) * 100%
  • Conversion Rate: (Conversions / Delivered) * 100%
  • Sent: Total number of sent Web Push notifications.

Campaign Performance

This report provides granular analysis of campaigns.

For Web Push campaigns, metrics shown by default include:

  • Sent: Total number of sent Web Push notifications.
  • Bounce Rate: (Bounced / Sent) * 100%
  • Delivered Rate: (Delivered / Total Web Pushes Sent) * 100%
  • Open Rate: (Opens / Delivered) * 100%
  • Conversion Rate: (Conversions / Delivered) * 100%
  • Revenue: Total revenue associated with a particular Web Push campaign launch.
  • Closed: Number of Web Push notifications closed/dismissed by the end user.
  • Button Clicks: Number of Web Push notifications that were opened through an Action Button click.

You can also add the following metrics to your table. To do so, right click the column heading, select Include Column, and then select the item to add.

  • Sent Year: Year corresponding to the sent date
  • Marketing Strategy: Marketing Strategy defined during campaign design
  • Folder: Name of the folder that contains the campaign
  • Browser: Browser of the web application, could be Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and the like
  • Launch Date: Date corresponding to when the launch occurred
  • Launch Type: Type of launch. Web Push supports only standard launches.
  • Distribution: Number of web users on the distribution list at the time of launch.
  • Skipped: Number of skipped messages.
  • Skip Rate: (Skipped / Distribution) * 100%
  • Failed: Number of failed messages
  • Bounced: Number of bounced messages. This includes hard and soft bounces received from the various Web Push services that the Oracle Responsys platform uses in order to deliver Web Push notifications to end users.
  • Delivered: Number of successfully delivered messages (that is, Sent - Bounced).
  • Opens: Number of notifications opened. Learn more about tracking opens.
  • Conversions: Number of conversion actions. Conversion events are actions that happen on web sites based on the Web Push notification.
