Adding Data Load Mapping

For the Point of View specified with the data load rule in Adding a New Data Load Rule, you need to define data load mapping. This should map source and target dimension members for all the dimensions mapped in Adding the Import Format.

To define data load mapping:

  1. In your Planning and Budgeting environment, click the Navigator icon This icon takes you to the main menu in your Oracle EPM Planning application.. Then, under Integration, click Data Management.

  2. On the Workflow tab, under Data Load, click Data Load Mapping.

  3. In the Point of View bar at the bottom of the page, verify that you are using the Point of View specified in Adding a New Data Load Rule.

  4. In Data Load Mapping, click the Like subtab, and do the following:

    1. From the Dimensions list, select a dimension.

    2. Click the Add icon This lets you create data load mapping for the selected dimension..

    3. In the Source Value field, enter an asterisk *.

    4. In the Target Value field, enter an asterisk *.

    5. In the Rule Name field, enter a name for this data load mapping.

    6. Click Save.

    7. Repeat this procedure for all the other dimensions in the Dimensions list.
