Sales Activity by Sales Rep Summary Report
The Sales Activity by Sales Rep Summary report shows the number of sales activities entered by each sales rep for a specific time period. The activities included in this report include:

events, tasks, and phone calls this sales rep entered that are associated with a customer
-
email and other messages the sales rep sent to customers
-
campaigns
-
cases that have activities associated with them
-
user notes on customer records and transactions
With Narrative Insights, you can use generative AI to summarize the report, helping you identify the most and least active sales reps and teams, and better understand overall team activity levels.
The generated insights may include:

The top three sales representatives by activity count and the lowest performing representatives, with team context
-
The team with the highest and lowest total activity count
To generate an insight on the Sales Activity by Sales Rep Summary report, the Enable Narrative Insights preference must be enabled in the Narrative Insights tab of the AI Preferences page. This preference is enabled by default. For more information, see Managing Narrative Insights Preferences.

To view the Sales Activity by Sales Rep Summary report:
Go to Reports > Pipeline Analysis > Sales Activity by Sales Rep.
A popup message appears to let you know your report is loading. The status bar in the footer of the report indicates the progress as your report loads. You can click Cancel Report next to the status bar to stop the report from loading.
This report does not support reporting by period even when the Report by Period preference is set to All Reports. You can configure the Report by Period preference. Go to Home > Set Preferences. The preference is on the Analytics subtab.
To generate an insight on the Sales Activity by Sales Rep Summary report:

Filter the report to include only the information you want the insight to reflect.

Click the Generate Insight button.
The Narrative Insights dialog is displayed. You can generate the insight again at any time by clicking the Generate Insight button.
Insights may differ each time they're generated, even when you're viewing the same data.
