Modeling the Kit on a Trade Transaction Line

On the trade transaction line, the kit is modeled as an item. You do not need to identify the child items within the kit since Global Trade Management (GTM) will automatically assign them.

For the trade transaction, your example may include:

  • Transaction Type ID – Identify the type of transaction, such as shipment.
  • Date Qualifier ID – Make sure to include the date qualifier as specified on the compliance rule and the appropriate date.
  • Involved Parties – Specify the involved party qualifiers and associated parties that are important for this trade transaction.

On the trade transaction line, you must include:

Note: Make sure that the data that is used for matching in the constraint set and compliance rule is present on the trade transaction and/or trade transaction line. For example, since GTM is comparing the arrival date on the trade transaction to the dates on the trade item structure, make sure that the date qualifier SCHEDULED_ARRIVAL_DATE is present.
