Accrual Details

The Accrual Details zone displays the details of an accrual. It contains the following columns:

Column Name Column Description
Sequence Number Displays the sequence in which the accrual detail is considered for accrual calculation.
Price Item Displays the price item that is defined for the accrual calculation.
Note: It contains a link. On clicking the link, the Price Item screen appears where you can view the details of the respective accrual adjustment.
Amount Displays the accrual amount.
Override Reason Displays the reason why the price item or the accrual amount is overridden in case if the accrual is edited.
Adjustment Information Displays information about the adjustment that is created using the accrual creation batch.
Note: It contains a link. On clicking the link, the Adjustment screen appears where you can view the details of the respective adjustment.
On clicking the Broadcast (The Broadcast Icon) icon corresponding to an accrual detail, the Accrual Calculation Lines zone appears where you can view a list of calculation lines for the respective accrual detail.
Note:
The Accrual Calculation Lines zone appears only when the following conditions are satisfied:

  • The Calculation Lines Required check box is selected for the accrual type which is associated with the accrual.

  • Accrual is created using the batch process and not manually from the user interface.

  • Accrual is created using an accrual type with either of the following combinations:
    Accrual Criteria Accrual Source Posting Method
    Historical - Bill Level
    Historical - Price Item Level
    Actual Trial Bill Bill Level
    Actual Trial Bill Price Item Level

  • When the Do you want to insert detail level calculation? parameter in the Accrual Calculation (C1_​ACCR_​CAL) algorithm is set to Y.
