Adding the Names of a Person

Prerequisites

To add the names of a person, you should have:

  • Name types defined in the application.

Procedure

To add the names of a person:

  1. Ensure that the Person Names section is expanded in the Main page when you are defining, editing, or copying a customer registration.

    The Person Names section contains the following columns:

    Column Name Column Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Name Type Used to indicate the type of name which you want to add for the customer registration.
    Note: The list includes only those name types where the name type entity is set to Customer Registration.
    Yes (Conditional)
    Note: This field is required when you are adding a name for customer registration.
    Name Used to specify the name of the person. Yes (Conditional)
    Note: This field is required when you are adding a name for customer registration.
  2. Enter the required details in the Person Names section.
  3. If you want to add more than one person name for the customer registration, click the Add (The Add Icon) icon and then repeat step 2.
    Note: However, if you want to remove a person name from the customer registration, click the Delete (The Delete Icon) icon corresponding to the person name.
  4. Click Validate and Save.
    The names are added for the person.
