Home in Patient Portal

Home displays a list of tasks you need to complete, upcoming appointments, recent results, and activities to focus on. The labels and workflow you see may be different depending on your settings and healthcare organization.

Home is automatically displayed when you sign in. You can return to this view anytime by selecting Home from the navigation list menu. This dashboard can include the following sections:

  • Switch Profile and Sign out: Select your name at the top of the page to switch to a connected authorized representative (proxy user) profile or to sign out of Patient Portal. See Switch Health Profiles and Sign Out of Patient Portal for more information.
  • Tasks to Complete: If you have outstanding tasks to complete, such as paying a bill or reviewing unread messages, they are displayed in this section of the page. Select View All if necessary to display the full list.
    • Start Video Call: If you have an upcoming video visit and it is time to join that visit, select Start Video Call (or similarly named) button to start your visit.
    • Register: If you have an upcoming visit that you have not yet registered for, select the Register (or similarly named) button to review and submit your personal information, including any questionnaires or consent forms you need to sign.     • Confirm Arrival: If you have a visit that is about to start and you have already registered, select Confirm Arrival (or similarly named) button to confirm you have arrived to the clinic. See Get Ready for Your Visit Using Patient Portal for more information.
    • Pay My Bill: If you have an outstanding bill, select the Pay My Bill (or similarly named) link in the Tasks to Complete section of the Home page. See Pay an Outstanding Balance in Patient Portal for more information.
    • Review Messages: If you have unread messages, select the Review Messages (or similarly named) link in the Tasks to Complete section of the Home page. See Inbox in Patient Portal for more information.
  • Up Next: Information about your recent and upcoming visit. Select View All if necessary to display the full list.
  • Actions: Common actions you can complete, such as making an appointment, starting a new message, renewing medications, and exploring results. You may need to scroll down to see this section of the page.
  • Latest Health Summary: A list of health conditions you're currently managing, medications you are taking, noteworthy recent vital signs and results. Select any item to display its details, including any clinical notes or visit summaries. See View Visit Details in Patient Portal for more information.

    Note:

    Depending on your organization's settings, Health Conditions might be known alternatively as Diagnoses, Health Issues, Problems, or a similar name. Depending on your organization and account settings, some activity might not be displayed or might have a delay. See View Health Conditions in Patient Portal for more information.
  • Ask Oracle bar: The Ask Oracle bar includes a search box that allows you to ask questions and filter the current page. See the Clinical AI Agent User Guides for information about how to use this feature.
  • Navigation menu: The navigation menu allows you to see a list of pages you can access in Patient Portal. See Navigation Menu in Patient Portal for more information.
Select the back arrow (<) to return to the Home dashboard.
