Merchandising permits you to delete search configurations, base search configurations, and search configuration folders at all times. There are two behaviors to keep in mind:
Deleting a base search configuration that’s associated with a search configuration causes the standard configuration to lose any settings it inherited from the base configuration.
Deleting a search configuration folder deletes any search configurations it contains.
An administrator must remove segments from the merchandising segment list and remove properties from the Property Prioritization tab.
