When you enter JavaScript directly, Engagement Engine performs a syntax check on the code you enter to ensure that it contains valid code. Engagement Engine does not perform any checks on the functionality of the code entered and it is your responsibility to ensure that the code behaves as expected.

There are limits to the JavaScript that can be directly entered via a condition or action. The eval function is not permitted and Engagement Engine does not permit you to save any rule with an eval command
