This is a server-side condition which compares the visitor’s location as derived from their IP address against the combination of country, region, and city specified when configuring the condition.
The following configuration options are available for this condition:
Operator: This is used to specify whether the condition is checking to see if the visitor’s location is equal to or is not equal to the location defined in the condition. You can also choose to perform a regular expression match by selecting Matches regular expression from the dropdown.
Country: This is used to specify the country to use in the comparison against the visitor’s location.
Region: This is used to specify the region within the specified country to use in the comparison against the visitor’s location.
City: This is used to specify the city within the specified region to use in the comparison against the visitor’s location.
Apply to Country/Region/City: If you selected Matches regular expression from the Operator dropdown, this dropdown appears to allow you to select which level of location to use with the regular expression.
Regular Expression: If you select Matches regular expression from the Operator dropdown, this text box is used to enter the regular expression you wish to use.
Test Regular Expression: This button appears when you select Matches regular expression from the Operator dropdown. It is used to provide a sample of text against which to test the Regular Expression specified for this condition. Type in some sample text and press the Test button. A tick or cross is displayed to indicate whether the Regular Expression is valid when run against the sample text provided.
Trim Whitespace: This is used to specify whether or not to trim leading or trailing whitespace from the value used for the comparison. Checking the box means that any leading or trailing whitespace shall be removed.
