A zone migration transfers an existing zone or system to another system. This migration may be physical to virtual (P2V) or virtual to virtual (V2V), An example of a P2V migration is transferring a global zone to an LDOM (which is itself a global zone), or to an Oracle Solaris non-global zone. An example of a V2V migration example is transferring a non-global zone to another non-global zone.
