ATG Merchandising includes an HTML editor called FCKeditor that you can use edit and apply rich-text formatting to large string properties, such as a product’s default long description.
The editor provides both WYSIWYG and HTML source code views.
FCKeditor is installed automatically with the Oracle ATG Web Commerce applications that require it. Detailed documentation for the editor is available on the CKSource Docs Web site.
To add or edit text in the WYSIWYG editor, complete the following steps:
In the Details pane, click the property you want to edit.
Click the Edit button to launch the editor.
Enter or edit text.
Use the icons at the top of the editor to format, size, and align the text.
To edit the HTML code, click Source. To switch back to WYSIWYG view, click Source again.
(Optional) Set other property values in the Details pane.
Click the Create or Save button at the bottom of Details pane when you have finished your changes.
Note: Formatting you applied may not appear in the Details pane once your changes have been saved.
