You can export prices from a price list for products and SKUs so you can work with them outside of Merchandising and easily import those changes back into the ATG system. You choose a price list whose prices you want to export, but you cannot export price list assets themselves.

Note: You can export prices from only one price list per export procedure.

The guidelines and limitations for exporting prices are the same as those for exporting other asset properties. For example, the export size limitation (a maximum of 65,534 asset rows) is the same if you are exporting asset properties or prices. For more information, see Export Guidelines and Limitations.

Volume Pricing

Volume pricing models are not supported for export. Exported volume prices are marked the keyword IGNORE in the cell that contains the price property .and COMPLEX in the cell that contains the listPrice property. For more details about volume pricing models in price lists, see Creating and Managing Price Lists.

Inherited Prices

When the price for an exported product or SKU is inherited from a base price list, the keyword IGNORE marks the cell that contains the ID property and the cell that contains the Price property is empty.

This illustration is described in the preceding text.

You can replace the keyword IGNORE with a NEW keyword and provide a price value in listPrice column. A new price will be applied/created, when you import the spreadsheet

You can replace the keyword IGNORE with the keyword NEW and provide a price value that will be applied when you import the spreadsheet in the listPrice column. See Marking Data to Ignore.

For more information about inherited prices, see Creating and Managing Price Lists.

Exporting Price Properties

When you export prices for products or SKUs, Merchandising automatically exports the following properties:

Note: You cannot change the list of properties to export, though the list you see might not contain all the properties listed here, depending on how your administrator configured Merchandising.
