Assortment

The following program description deals with:

Remarks on the Program Function

By use of this program, you can maintain the data for the Assortments, i.e. create new data records, modify or delete existing data. You can also view already stored data for information purposes.

Assortments are assigned in the update program Item -> Linkage in the field Assortment if you would like to permit particular items for particular branches only.

Note:

Via the button "Link all Branch", you can assign the selected Assortment to all branches.
In addition, you can assign all or selected assortments to an item branch group by calling the FGL file "LstSetArtBrGrp.fgl" in the update program System -> User Interface -> Applications.

Assortments serve the assignment of items to a particular branch. By this assignment, you can define that with the creation of a database for a particular sub-installation, only the assigned items will be taken over in the database.

Attention!
This assignment is also considered with the function Update Installation, Create Database and Create Base Data (cp. update program Installation, buttons Create Database, Create Base Data and Update Installation).

Please make sure that if at least one branch has been assigned to an item branch group, only basic item data which is also linked to an assortment in the item record is created. This means that all items without a linkage will not be sent to any branch.

If you work with transfers, customer orders, stock orders etc. which are to be confirmed cross-branch, you must not have created assortments since these functions require all items to be known in all departments.
