Oracle Hardware Management Pack (HMP) provides management agents and command line tools that enable you to manage and configure Oracle servers from the host OS. You can install HMP from the Oracle Solaris software package repository. After installing the software, you will be able to perform these tasks:
Monitor Oracle hardware with the host IP address.
Monitor storage devices.
Query, update, and validate firmware versions on supported I/O devices.
Restore, set, and view Oracle ILOM configuration settings.
Use the IPMI tool to access and manage Oracle servers.
