Reverse Ship Confirm Flow for Stock Items, Lot Numbers and Partial Shipments

JD Edwards has enhanced the Ship Confirm process to allow the reversal of ship confirmation for stock item order lines that have not yet been invoiced to the customer. This enhancement simplifies the correction of errors during the ship confirmation process by:

• Reverting ship-confirmed sales order lines to their pre-shipped state
• Restoring inventory stock
• Restating commitments

Enable Release Credit Holds Program to Release Held Orders Regardless of Total Exposure

The Release Credit Hold program (R42550) is enhanced to allow organizations to release a portion of held orders, up to a cumulative amount that does not exceed the credit limit, even if a customer's total exposure exceeds its credit limit. The flexibility to manage held orders supports faster order processing, provides a smoother order fulfillment process, and improves customer satisfaction.

You can design orchestrations using rules, logic extensions, or custom scripts to detect errors in critical steps and react appropriately, such as taking an alternate path or sending a notification message. For example, if an orchestration step that invokes an external REST API fails, you can pass the error response from that API to a subsequent rule, which then directs the orchestration to run on an alternate path. Similarly, if an orchestration form request returns an EnterpriseOne application error, you can pass that error into a message and send it to an appropriate recipient for corrective action.
