Debit Blocking

Your HSBC Online Account is automatically configured to block ACH debits initiated by parties other than you and HSBC.

An additional security feature to your HSBC Online Account allows certain transactions such as:

• automatic debits for the amount due on your virtual card billing statement. For more information, see Virtual Card Statement Schedule and Virtual Card Billing Cycle.

• automatic debits for the amount due for processing fees. For more information, see Transaction Fees Statement Schedule.

• any returns of the auto-funding requests to your source bank account.

• any system debits initiated by HSBC to correct processing errors or make other adjustments.
