Personal Preferences for Restricting Views
Click the Restrict View subtab of the Set Preferences page to limit your access to information for the specific class, location, department, or subsidiary you select. The restrictions apply only for the duration of your current session. The next time you login, your original settings are restored.
If you use NetSuite OneWorld, some reports don't support consolidation and can show results only for one subsidiary at a time. Before you can run one of these reports, you must set your user preferences to restrict your view to a single subsidiary.
Some standard reports return errors when you try to run them before setting this preference.

Include Sub-Subsidiaries |
(NetSuite OneWorld accounts only) Check this box to include records from child subsidiaries, in addition to the selected parent subsidiary for the current login session. When you select your root subsidiary above, you don't need to check this box. Records from all the sub-subsidiaries are available by default. |
Department |
Restrict your access to those records from the department you select. The restrictions apply to the user interface, searches, and reports for the duration of your current session. The next time you log in, your original settings will be restored. |
Include Sub-Departments |
Check this box to include records from sub-departments of the selected department for this session. |
Include Unassigned |
Check this box to include records that don't have a designated department in this session. |
Location |
Restrict your access to those records from the location you select. The restrictions apply to the user interface, searches, and reports for the duration of your current session. The next time you log in, your original settings will be restored. |
Include Sub-Locations |
Check this box to include records from sublocations of the selected location for this session. |
Include Unassigned |
Check this box to include records that don't have a designated location in this session. |
Class |

Include Sub-Classes |
Check this box to include records from sub-classes of the selected class for this session. |
