Configure Email Sync

You can synchronize emails between Exchange and Sales, so that salespeople's emails in Outlook and Sales are always consistent between the two applications.

Email sync is always one-way, from Exchange to Sales. When the sync process runs, it looks at all emails in Exchange that are categorized as Shared with Oracle and syncs those.

  1. Navigate to the Sync Configuration page. See How to Get to the Sync Configuration Page for more information.

  2. Under Email Sync Settings, make changes according to your business needs. See the following table for the meanings of the different settings.
  3. Save and close the page.

Setting Meaning Additional Information
Enable Sync Specify how emails are synced from Exchange to Sales. When enabled, emails with category Shared with Oracle sync from Exchange to Sales as conversational threads. See: Overview of the Sync Between Sales and Exchange
Autocapture replies to shared emails Lets the replies received by users for previously shared emails be shared automatically with Sales. See: Automatically Share Email Responses of Manually Shared Emails
