8.10 Deleting Containers

To delete a container and its snapshot, use the lxc-destroy command as shown in the following example. 

[root@host ~]# lxc-destroy -n ol6ctr2
Delete subvolume '/container/ol6ctr2/rootfs'

This command also deletes the rootfs subvolume.
