7.3 Enabling the cgconfig Service

To enable the cgroup services on a system:

  1. Install the libcgroup package. 

    # yum install libcgroup

  2. Start the cgconfig service and configure it to start when the system is booted. 

    # service cgconfig start
# chkconfig cgconfig on
