After you complete a task in ATG Merchandising, you advance the project to the next task by choosing an option from the Task menu.
The Task menu contains each of the possible next steps in the current workflow. For example, the options for the Author task are Ready for Review` and Delete Project. If you choose Ready for Review, the project advances to the Review Content task, which is the next step in the workflow.
You can perform a task action only if the current task is assigned to you or is unassigned. Otherwise, the Task menu doesn’t appear.
To advance to the next task, follow these steps:
From inside your project, open the Task menu and choose an action.
(Optional) In the Task Action dialog box, type a note about the action you’re taking.
Click OK.
The ATG Business Control Center opens to the Project Details page of ATG Content Administration, which displays information about your project and its tasks. For more information, see the Managing Tasks chapter of the ATG Content Administration Guide for Business Users.
