Important: If you rename a workflow, you may have to update references you’ve made to it on your site pages depending on the means your pages use to identify a workflow. If your pages use the workflow name shown in the ATG Control Center, and you do not update them, errors will occur whenever the workflow is invoked on the Web site.
Follow these steps to rename an existing workflow or move it to another folder.
Display the list of existing workflows in the Workflow window.
Select the workflow you want to move or rename. (To select a workflow without opening it, click its entry in any column except the Name column.)
Select File > Move/Rename Workflow Definition. (Note: You cannot move or rename a workflow that is currently open in the ATG Control Center. To close the workflow, navigate to it by using the arrow buttons in the toolbar, and then select File > Close.)
The Rename Workflow Definition dialog box appears.
To move the workflow to a different folder, select the destination folder from the list at the top of the dialog box. To rename the workflow, type the new name (do not include spaces).
Click OK.
