Locate a Faulty Service Processor Card
Before You Begin
The following LEDs are lit when a SP fault is detected:
- Determine if the System Service Required LEDs are lit on the front panel
or the rear I/O module.
See Interpreting Diagnostic LEDs.
- Check the SP Status LED on the main module or the rear I/O
module to determine if the service processor card needs to be replaced.
See Main Module Motherboard LEDs or Rear I/O Module LEDs. The SP Status LED will be lit amber if
the service processor needs to be replaced.
- Remove the faulty service processor card.
