The blocking
property controls the behavior of the SQL table logger when its internal buffer is full. The default value is true
, which means that the data source feeding the SQL table logger blocks until there is room in the buffer. Use this setting in conjunction with a DataListenerQueue
. See Data Collector Queues in this chapter and Queues in the Core ATG Services chapter for more information about using queue components.
If you are not using a DataCollectorQueue
and do not want your data source to block, set blocking
to false
. This is not recommended, however, as it causes new data to be lost when the internal buffer is full.
