Log Into the Oracle ILOM CLI (SER MGT)

  1. Verify that the serial device has the correct settings.

    See SER MGT Port.

  2. If you have not already done so, connect the serial device to the SER MGT port of the switch.

    See Front Panel Components for the location of the port.

  3. Press Enter on the serial device.

    This action establishes the connection between the terminal device and Oracle ILOM.

    The Oracle ILOM login prompt appears.

    SUNSPnnnnnnnnnn login: 
  4. Enter the user name and password when prompted.

    The default user is root and the default password is changeme.

    Once you have successfully logged in, the Oracle ILOM prompt appears.
