Once you have added items to an order and reviewed an order, Commerce Service Center displays the Shipping Information page, where you can specify the shipping address for the order.
If the order contains multiple items, you can ship the order to multiple addresses, as described in Shipping to Multiple Addresses.
To specify the shipping information for the order:
Access the Shipping Address panel using the shopping cart.
Do one of the following:
If you have an active customer with saved address, select the Deliver to One Place link located above the desired address. This navigates you to the shipping method page
If your customer wants to pick up their order at a store, select the store location
If you want to associate the order with a shipping address other than one of the displayed addresses, or you do not have an active customer, click the Add a Destination link and enter the address information. You may also use the In Store Pickup button should the customer wish to pick up their merchandise from a local store. Refer to the Using In-Store Pickup section for additional information.
Continue on to the Shipping Method page.
Click Continue to Billing. The system displays the Billing Information page, where you can now add the payment information to the order. See Adding Payment Information.
Shipping to Multiple Addresses
If the customer’s order contains multiple items, you can ship any combination of items to any of the customer’s shipping addresses (either the default address or any address in the customer’s address book). If you are working with an order that contains gift list items, the shipping address information will indicate both the recipient and the associated gift list.
To ship to multiple shipping addresses:
Select Shipping Address from the Order Summary panel from the Shopping Cart.
On the Shipping Address page, click Deliver to Multiple Places.
For each item in the order, select a shipping address from the Destination drop-down list. The Destination drop-down list contains the customer’s default shipping address (listed as My Shipping Address) and all the addresses in the customer’s address book. You can enter a new address for shipping by providing the shipping information. The destination can be either a Deliver or Pickup address.
Note: To split the quantity of an item, click Split Quantity, and enter a value in the Qty to Split field for the item, select an address from the drop-down list. The page updates to show two entries for the item, one for each address.
Click the Ship to Multiple Places button.
