The status of an item indicates where an individual item is in the shipping process. The following table describes each item status.

Item Status

Description

Backordered

The item currently is not available in your company’s inventory; it has been reordered.

Delivered

The item has been shipped to the customer.

Discontinued

The item is not available in your company’s inventory because the company no longer carries the item.

Item Not Found

The item is not available in your company’s inventory because the company does not carry it.

Initial

The beginning state of an item.

Out of Stock

The item currently is not available in your company’s inventory; it has not been reordered.

Pending Delivery

The item is ready for shipment to the customer.

Pending Return

The agent has submitted a return request for the item, but the item has not been received by your company yet.

Pending Sub-Item Delivery

The item is available in your company’s inventory. It is being prepared for shipment to the customer.

Preordered

The item currently is not available in your company’s inventory. The company did not previously carry the item, and the initial shipment of stock has not arrived.

Pending Remove

The agent has requested that the item be deleted from the order. Commerce is determining whether the item can be removed (for example, the item has not already shipped).

Removed

The item has been removed from the order.

Returned

The item has been returned by the customer, and the return has been processed.
