By default, ACI does not require user authentication. Users can log on anonymously. To use authenticated logon only, you can disable anonymous access.
Start Cognos Configuration.
Navigate to Security > Authentication.
Click Default.
In the Resource Properties window, click the box next to the Allow anonymous access property and then click False.
From the File menu, click Save.
