Installing the Required Packages

Begin your EVS network setup by installing the required EVS packages.

1. On the host where the EVS controller will reside, do the following:

   1. Install the required packages.

      controller$ pkg install evs
      controller$ pkg install rad-evs-controller

   2. Restart the local RAD service.

      controller$ svcadm restart rad:local

2. On all the other nodes, install the EVS package.

   evs-node$ pkg install evs
