Reset the Service Processor Using Oracle ILOM

Before You Begin

The Host Control and Reset (r) role is required to reset a service processor.

1. Log in to the Oracle ILOM using the relevant method in Log In to Oracle ILOM Using a Local Serial Connection or Log In to Oracle ILOM Using a Remote Ethernet Connection.
2. Reset the Oracle ILOM service processor (SP) using one of the following methods:
   • From the Oracle ILOM CLI, enter the command:

     reset /SP

   • From the Oracle ILOM web interface, click Administration > Maintenance > Reset SP.

   ---

   Note -  Resetting the Oracle ILOM SP disconnects your current Oracle ILOM session. You must log in again to continue working in Oracle ILOM.
