Profile Options

Options menus contain arrays of buttons which you may select to access many of the major features supported by the OPERA profiles. An options menu is available from the Profile screen by selecting the screen's Options button. When the Enhanced Options Management application setting is activated (General>Parameters>Enhanced Options Management = Y), you can also access the Profile Options by entering Ctrl+T from the Profile Screen. The options menu that appears, and the buttons it offers, depends on the profile type from which you start and on the parameters, functions, settings, and licensed features for the OPERA installation.  The option button selections are listed in the following table; the table also shows the profile types to which each option applies.

Enhanced Options Management

When the Enhanced Options Management application setting is activated (General>Parameters>Enhanced Options Management = Y) you can quickly open the desired option on the menu by:

Typing less than three letters of the option button label. The system matches the first option in alphabetical order that begins with that letter and makes the button label bold. For example, if you only typed A, the system would make bold the first option in alphabetical order that begins with A, such as Accompanying. You can advance through all options beginning with A, such as Accompanying, Add on, Agent/Company, and Alerts by continuously pressing A. In this case, to select the bolded option and open the menu, press the Enter key.
