By use of this program you can maintain the basic data of stock locations in the system, i.e. insert new records, edit and delete the existing ones. You can also display the data on the screen for enquiry only.
In this program, the basic data of a stock location can be created or modified. From which warehouse the quantity of stock of an item should be reduced when it is sold is determined by the assigned Stock Table for the branch, profit center or the check-out.
In addition, you can define the characteristics such as Order Type and the stock location type such as Goods received Stock, Hand Stock, und Buffet Stock.
This paragraph will provide a short overview over the options available for updating these Basic Data.
Just like in almost any other program:
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the company for which the stock location is to be processed. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
Enter the number of the branch for which the stock location is to be processed. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: numeric, 1 - 9999
This is the number of the stock location under which this stock location is to be stored in the system.
To add a new record, enter an unused number in this Key Field.
For changes or deletions, the record can be retrieved by entering the number in this key field. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.

Enter the number of the profit center for which you would like to edit the stock location. If you do not know the number, you can also select the data record via the Search Function.
Permitted input range: alphanumeric, max. 20 characters
Enter the name of the stock location. Use eloquent names such as Central Warehouse, Beverage Warehouse, Fruit Warehouse, etc. to have a better overview of the system.

The following options are available:
Button activated : For this
stock location, incoming goods can be posted.
Button deactivated : .Incoming good cannot be posted for this stock
location.
Button activated: This stock
is the default stock for "Internal orders to stock".
Button deactivated: .This stock is not a default stock for
"Internal orders to stock".
Note:
With an internal order to stock (Application -> Stock -> Internal order
request -> Internal
order to stock) the purchase stock is set as the
source stock. If the option Main stock is activated, the main stock is set as
the source stock.
Button activated : This
location is a hand stock location.
Button deactivated : This is not a hand stock location.
The hand stock type is a spezial means of stockkeeping. Hand stock is normally set up for specific items. The prerequisite for administration of a hand stock for a specific operator is that the stock is set up with option hand stock. In addition, the Number of hand stock must be linked in program Operator and the option Hand stock must be set in program Item for the item concerned.

buffet stock:
Button deactivated : .This is not a buffet stock.
Buffet stock is a special form of keeping stock. A buffet stock keeps track of stock, for example, it can be used to administer the stock level of all the items of a breakfast menu. Since the items of a buffet cannot be posted directly to the individual items, the stock consumption is monitored against the budgeted sales turnover by physical stock taking of the specific stock location.

Button activated : A missing
stock item will be automatically created during the operation of stock move
(STMOVE), stock order (ORDER) and shrinkages (SHRINKAGE).
Button deactivated : . No creation of missing stock items during the
operation of stock move (STMOVE), stock order (ORDER) and shrinkages
(SHRINKAGE).
Button activated: For this stock location, a quantity request will be considered for
this stock location.
Button activated: For this stock location, a quantity request will not be
considered for this stock location.
Note:
By use of the program Application -> Stock -> Quantity request, the quantity in stock for a certain item of a certain or different branches can be determined.
