When you make changes in the catalog and publish them, search configuration is promoted from preview to production.
To publish catalog configuration, follow these steps:
Click the Publishing tab in the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service.
At the top of the updates list, click Publish and then select Publish Now.
Note: The Publish button becomes active only when changes have been made to Catalog configuration through the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service administrator interface. Making changes to search configuration through the Search and Navigation REST API does not activate the Publish button.
Confirm that you want to publish everything on the Updates to Publish list.

When you publish configuration, it becomes effective in the preview and live storefronts as follows:
Changes in the Catalog tab of Commerce Cloud take effect in the preview and live storefronts.
Changes in Search tab of Commerce Cloud take effect:
In the preview storefront immediately, without publishing.
In the live storefront only when you publish all configuration.
Changes to resources as described in this chapter take effect in the preview storefront immediately, without publishing. These resources currently include: Thesaurus, Search Interfaces, Relevance Ranking Strategy, and Keyword Redirects.
