The export process does not include themes in the export ZIP file. Before you import the ZIP file, you must manually transfer the theme from your existing environment to the new environment.
During a storefront asset import, the Commerce Cloud administration UI is locked and all users are notified that an import is occurring.
To manually transfer the theme:
In the environment you are transferring assets from, go to Oracle Commerce Cloud Service.
Click the Design tab, then click the Code tab.
Select the theme you want to transfer.
Copy the contents of the three tabs, Style Variables, Style Sheet, Additional CSS, to a text document and save it.
In the environment you are transferring assets to, go to Oracle Commerce Cloud Service.
Click the Design tab, then click the Theme tab.
Clone a theme to create a new one.
Click the Code tab and select the theme you just created.
Click the Style Variables tab, copy the style variables from the text document into the tab, then click Save.
Repeat this step for the Style Sheet and Additional CSS tabs.
To import a storefront asset ZIP file:
In Oracle Commerce Cloud Service, click the Design tab, then click the Code tab.
Under the Advanced options, click Import Layouts.
Click the Browse button and locate the
storefront.zip
file you want to import.Click the Import button.
