Passkeys

You can use a passkey instead of your password during the login process to your NetSuite account. Passkeys are available for all roles. Passkeys can be either physical or digital, for example a face ID or fingerprint.

Important:

You must still remember your NetSuite password, because passkeys are only available for the login process. You still need a password for other processes, for example 2FA reset.

You can manage your passkeys using the Manage Passkeys link in the Settings portlet when you're logged in to NetSuite.

To manage your passkeys:

  1. Find the Settings portlet on the Home page. If you can't locate the Settings portlet, see Finding Your Settings Portlet.

    Tip:

The Settings portlet can appear anywhere on a customized Home page (or dashboard). By default, it's located on the left side, and you might need to scroll down to see it.

  2. Click Manage Passkeys.

  3. On the Passkeys page, you can see the list of your passkeys. On this page you can click the Create New button to create a passkey, you can edit your existing passkeys, or delete them.

    Important:

When creating a new passkey, always use a FIDO-certified option. Passkeys that are not certified can provide a risk for your NetSuite account, because they may not be resistant to potential attackers.

Consider choosing passkeys that comply with FIDO2 specification.
