Rate Schedule - SQ Rules
When a rate contains prices for things that aren't measured directly by the customers' meters, you must link SQ Rules to the rate. When a rate schedule has SQ Rules, the system executes each rule's algorithm before it calculates the charges embodied in the rate's rate components. These SQ Rules manipulate measured consumption so that the rate is supplied with consumption in the manner that it expects. Open and navigate to the SQ Rule page to link SQ Rules to a rate.

The Rate Schedule Merge page enables you to build the SQ rule collection for your rate schedule by copying collections from existing rate schedules.
Description of Page
Enter a Service Quantity Rule for every type of service quantity manipulation required by the rate. The Sequence number is important when you have multiple rules linked to the rate, as it defines the order in which the rules will be executed.
Where Used
Billing uses this information to create additional service quantities at billing time.
