Payment Upload Staging - Payment Characteristics
The Payment Characteristics tab allows you
to define a characteristic for each payment advice. The Left Arrow (
) and Right Arrow (
) buttons
allow you to navigate to the required payment advice. You can then
define characteristics for the payment advice. This tab contains the
following fields:

| Effective Date | Used to specify the date from when the characteristic is effective for the payment advice. | Yes (Conditional) Note: This field is required when you are
defining a characteristic for the payment advice.

| Characteristic Type | Used to indicate the characteristic type. Note: The list includes
only those characteristic types where the characteristic entity is
set to Payment.

Yes (Conditional) Note: This field is required when you are
defining a characteristic for the payment advice.

| Sequence | Used to indicate the sequence number of the characteristic. This field enables you to define same characteristic with same value for a payment advice provided the sequence number is different. | Yes (Conditional) Note: This field is required when you are
defining a characteristic for the payment advice.

| Characteristic Value | Used to specify the value for the characteristic type. Note:
On specifying the value for a predefined characteristic type, the description of the characteristic value appears corresponding to the Characteristic Value field. If
