Rate Components
The Rate Components zone lists the rate components defined for the rate schedule and rate version combination. This zone contains the following columns:
| Column Name | Column Description |

| Rate Schedule | Indicates the rate schedule to which the rate component belongs. Note: It has a link. On clicking the link, the Rate Schedule screen appears where you can view the details of the respective
rate schedule.

| Effective Date | Displays the date from when the rate component is effective. |
| Sequence | Indicates the sequence of the rate component in the rate schedule. |
| Rate Component Type | Indicates the type of rate component. |
| Description on Bill | Displays the description that should appear on the customer's printed bill. This description appears when the rate component contributes a line to the customer's bill. |
By default, the Rate Components zone does
not appear in the Rate Schedule Summary screen.
It appears when you click the Broadcast (
) icon corresponding to the rate
schedule in the Search Results section.
