Associating Algorithms with a Deferred Revenue Recognition Template

Procedure

To associate algorithms with a deferred revenue recognition template:

  1. Ensure that the Algorithms section is expanded when you are defining or editing a deferred revenue recognition template.

    The Algorithms section contains the following fields in a grid:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    System Event Used to indicate the system event for an algorithm. Yes
    Sequence Used to specify the sequence number.
    Note: On specifying the value for a predefined characteristic type, the description of the characteristic value appears corresponding to the Characteristic Value field.
    		 Yes
    Algorithm Used to associate an algorithm to the system event that you have selected.
    Note:

    The Search (The Search Icon) icon appears corresponding to this field. On clicking the Search icon, the Algorithm Search window appears.

    On specifying the algorithm for a system event, the description of the algorithm appears corresponding to the Algorithm field.

    		 Yes
  2. Enter the required details in the Algorithms section.
  3. If you want to define more than one algorithm for the deferred revenue recognition template, click the Add (The Add Icon) icon, and then repeat 2.
    Note: However, if you want to remove an algorithm from the deferred revenue recognition template, click the Delete (The Delete Icon) icon corresponding to the algorithm.
