Associating a Division with an Accrual Type

Prerequisites

To associate a division with an accrual type, you should have:

  • Divisions defined in the application.

Procedure

To associate a division with an accrual type:

  1. Ensure that the Divisions section is expanded in the Accrual Type screen when you are defining, editing, or copying an Accrual Type.
    The Divisions section contains the following fields in a grid:
    Fields Name Fields Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Effective Date Used to specify the date from when the accrual type is effective for the division. Yes (Conditional)
    Note: This field is required while associating a division with an accrual type.
    Division Used to indicate division to which you want to associate the accrual type. Yes (Conditional)
    Note: This field is required while associating a division with an accrual type.
  2. Enter the required details in the Divisions section.
  3. If you want to associate more than one division with the accrual type, click the Add () icon and then repeat step 2.
    Note: However, if you want to disassociate a division from the accrual type, click the Delete (The Delete Icon) icon corresponding to the division.
  4. Click Save.
    The division is associated with the accrual type.
