Defining a Variance Parameter

Note: This topic is not applicable for the health insurance business.

Procedure

To define a variance parameter:

  1. Click the Admin link in the Application toolbar.
    A list appears.
  2. From the Admin menu, select V and then click Variance Parameter.

    The Variance Parameter screen appears. It contains the following columns:

    Column Name Column Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Variance Parameter Used to specify the variance parameter. Yes
    Description Used to specify the description for the variance parameter. Yes
  3. Enter the required details.
  4. If you want to define more than one variance parameter, click the Add (The Add Icon) icon and then repeat step 4.
    Note: However, if you want to remove a variance parameter, click the Delete (The Delete Icon) icon corresponding to the variance parameter that you want to delete.
  5. Click Save.
    The variance parameter is defined.
