Editing a Scheduler Schedule

Prerequisites

To edit a scheduler schedule, you should have:

  • Schedule defined in the system.

Procedure

To edit a scheduler schedule:

  1. Search for the scheduler schedule in the Scheduler Schedule screen whose details you want to edit.
  2. In the Search Results section, click the Edit () icon in the Edit column corresponding to the scheduler schedule whose details you want to edit.
    The Scheduler Schedule screen appears. It contains the following fields:
    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Schedule Name Displays the name of scheduler schedule. Not applicable
    Detailed Description Used to specify the description of the scheduler schedule. No
    Repeat Interval Used to indicate the interval when the system should start the job scheduling. Yes
    Frequency Used to indicate the frequency of the job recurrence.
    Tip: To select frequency type click the Generate button.

  3. To set a time interval, click Generate button.
  4. Select the frequency option from the drop-down list of Frequency.
    It contains the following options:
    List Options Description Parameter Values
    Yearly Used to set the value of frequency to yearly for the schedule.

    Interval - Used to indicate the whether the schedule is scheduled for every year (a value of 1), every other year (a value of 2), or every third year (a value of 3) and so on.

    Month and Day - Used to indicate the date and month when you want to schedule the schedule.

    Time - Used to indicate the time when you want to start the schedule. On clicking Time Picker icon you can select the time.

    Monthly Used to set the value of frequency to monthly for the schedule.

    Interval - Used to indicate the whether the schedule is scheduled for every month (a value of 1), every other month (a value of 2), or every third month (a value of 3) and so on.

    Month Day - Used to indicate the date of the month when you want to schedule the schedule.

    WeekDay - Used to indicate the day of the week when you want to schedule the schedule.

    Time - Used to indicate the time when you want to start the schedule. On clicking Time Picker icon you can select the time.

    Weekly Used to set the value of frequency to weekly for the schedule.

    Interval - Used to indicate the whether the schedule is scheduled for every week (a value of 1), every other week (a value of 2), or every third week (a value of 3) and so on.

    WeekDay - Used to indicate the day of the week when you want to schedule the schedule.

    Time - Used to indicate the time when you want to start the schedule. On clicking Time Picker icon you can select the time.

    Daily Used to set the value of frequency to daily for the schedule.

    Interval - Used to indicate the whether the schedule is scheduled for every day (a value of 1), every other day (a value of 2), or every third day (a value of 3) and so on.

    WeekDay - Used to indicate the day of the week when you want to schedule the schedule.

    Time - Used to indicate the time when you want to start the schedule. On clicking Time Picker icon you can select the time.

    Hourly Used to set the value of frequency to hourly for the schedule.

    Interval - Used to indicate the whether the schedule is scheduled for every hour (a value of 1), every other hour (a value of 2), or every third hour (a value of 3) and so on.

    WeekDay - Used to indicate the day of the week when you want to schedule the schedule.

    Time - Used to indicate the time in minute and second format when you want to start the schedule. On clicking Time Picker icon you can select the time.

    Minutely Used to set the value of frequency to minutely for the schedule.

    Interval - Used to indicate the whether the schedule is scheduled for every minute (a value of 1), every other minute (a value of 2), or every third minute (a value of 3) and so on.

    WeekDay - Used to indicate the day of the week when you want to schedule the schedule.

    Secondly Used to set the value of frequency to secondly for the schedule.

    Interval - Used to indicate the whether the schedule is scheduled for every second (a value of 1), every other second (a value of 2), or every third second (a value of 3) and so on.

    WeekDay - Used to indicate the day of the week when you want to schedule the schedule.

  5. Click Save.
    The scheduler schedule is modified.
