Search

The Search zone allows you to search for payments using various search criteria. This zone contains the following two sections:

  • Search Criteria - The Search Criteria section contains the following fields:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Division Used to search for payments that belong to a particular division.
    Note: You can only view those divisions to which you have access in the Division list.

    Payee Account ID Used to indicate the account for which the payment was made. You can search for an account by clicking the Search (The Search Icon) icon corresponding to the field. No
    Payee Name Used to indicate the person for whom the payment was made. No
    Payor Account ID Used to indicate the account which has made the payment. You can search for an account by clicking the Search (The Search Icon) icon corresponding to the field. No
    Payor Name Used to indicate the person who has made the payment. No
    Payment Date From Used to search for payments made from a particular date onwards. No
    Payment Date To Used to search for payments made till a particular date. No
    Payment Amount From Used to search for payments whose amount is greater than or equal to a particular amount. No
    Payment Amount To Used to search for payments whose amount is less than or equal to a particular amount. No
    Tender Type Used to search for payments made through a particular tender type. No
    Tender Source Used to search for payments made through a particular tender source. You can search for a tender source by clicking the Search (The Search Icon) icon corresponding to the field. No
    Check Number Used to specify the check number through which the payment was made. No
    Match Type Used to search for payments which are matched using a particular match type. Yes (Conditional)
    Note: If you enter the match value as a search criteria, you have to select the match type.
    Match Value Used to indicate the entity (such as bill, contract, and so on) against which the payment is matched. Yes (Conditional)
    Note: If you specify the match type as a search criteria, you have to enter the match value.
  • Search Results - On clicking the Search button, the search results appear based on the specified search criteria. The Search Results section contains the following columns:

    Column Name Column Description
    Account Information Displays information about the account. In addition, this column has a context menu which helps in navigating to other screens in the application.
    Note: It has a link. On clicking the link, the Account screen appears where you can view the details of the respective account.
    Payment Information Displays information about the payment. In addition, this column has a context menu which helps in navigating to other screens in the application.
    Note: It has a link. On clicking the link, the Payment screen appears where you can view the details of the respective payment.
    Payment Date Displays the date when the payment was made.
    Payment Currency Indicates the currency in which the payment was made.
    Payment Amount Displays the amount paid through the tender.
    Payment Status Indicates the current status of the payment. The valid values are:
    • Incomplete

    • Error

    • Freezable

    • Frozen

    • Canceled

    Tender Type Displays the type of tender through which the payment was made.
    Tender Amount Displays the tender amount.
    Check Number Displays the check number if the payment was made through check.
    Match Type Indicates the match type using which the payment was matched.
    Match Value Indicates the entity (such as bill, contract, and so on) against which the payment was matched.
    GL Transfer Status Indicates the current status of GL transfer for the payment. The valid values are:
    • Generated

    • Distributed

    GL Transfer Date Displays the date when the GL transfer was done for the payment.
    Note: Along with division, you must specify at least one search criterion while searching for a payment.
