Publish a Report

Oracle Analytics Publisher (formerly Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher) is provisioned as part of the Oracle Health Insurance Cloud Services to enable the users to be able to publish reports.

It also allows users to create a data model and format reports from the Oracle Health Insurance component data source.

With Oracle Analytics Publisher, you can use SQL query instructions to visualize and explore your data.

The use of Oracle Analytics Publisher is limited to the Base views provided for Oracle Health Insurance components.

Assign Access to Oracle Analytics Publisher

To activate an Oracle Analytics Publisher for end users, grant the following permissions through the application roles in the IDCS.

  • BIConsumer: This allows users to create analytics, dashboards, and reports and share it with others.

  • BIContentAuthor: This allows users to visualize and run reports on projects, analytics, dashboards, and reports.

    NOTE

A BIContentAuthor also has a BIConsumer role, you do not need to assign both roles to users.

To provide access to Oracle Analytics Publisher Reports, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Oracle Health Insurance Cloud Services IDCS Admin Console.

  2. Click Oracle Cloud Services, and search application name, for example, OHI-STAGE-OBI.

  3. In the App Details dialog box, click the Application Roles tab. The roles are displayed.

  4. On the right side of the page, click the Flower icon, and from the list select Assign Roles. The Assign User page is displayed.

  5. On the page, search for the user, select the appropriate user checkbox, then click OK to assign the roles to that user.
