What is Self-Service Console

The self-service console introduces the ability to run certain system administration operations as an end user of the Oracle Health Insurance Cloud Services. Using the self-service APIs, you can create a checkpoint to save the state of an environment at a specific time and clone that environment.

Additionally, you can also restart the server, and perform a factory reset operation to reset the environment to its freshly installed state.

Self-Service Console feature requires the implementation of URL Patterns.

Use Cases

The most common use cases are:

  • To create a checkpoint that includes all the business data for a specific period.

  • To create multiple checkpoints. For example, if the customer has checkpoints for n number of data configurations for a specific time, but also wants to create checkpoints at n +1 number of data for a specific time.

  • If the user has existing multiple checkpoints and wants to move the system to a defined checkpoint.

  • To clone environments from the existing checkpoint.

  • To restart the server.

  • To perform a factory reset to move the system back to a freshly installed state.

Key Features

  • Self-Service APIs offer the flexibility to clone an environment.

  • View the history of all the created checkpoints.

  • View and track the status of previously submitted work requests.

  • Cancel the work request within ten minutes.
