Oracle recommends that you upgrade the software described by this documentation as soon as possible.
An updated kernel-uek-headers package is
provided that reinstates kernel-headers to
avoid certain build problems. This new version of
kernel-uek-headers effectively hides older
versions of the package in the repository. You no longer need
to exclude kernel-uek-headers in the yum
configuration for new installations if you had to do this
previously. (Note that you do not require
kernel-uek-headers to build kernel
