A Search project is the core of ATG Search Administration. In it, you define what content you want to make searchable as a unit, and all of the associated configuration information: where the content is stored, what rules are followed for its indexing, what languages are used in it, and so on.
Note: A Search project is not a Content Administration project. Search projects do not contain deployable assets, do not have an associated workflow, etc., but are instead a means to organize and configure a given set of indexable content.
